Starting Points

• Absolute Web Graphics - also really nice site - (http://www.grsites.com/webgraphics/)
• Free Graphics (what is cool about this site is the effort the author has put into categorizing and filtering these sites. It can take a while to get to real pictures, but the results are almost always worth it.
• Clipart.com A truly massive collection of links to other clipart sites.

Search Engines

• Graph Search -A graphics search engine site, newly redesigned- very nice!!!
• Altavista Graphics Search- A powerful site. I typed in "trains" and got 500 images about 1/3 of which were actually useful.

Textures and Backgrounds

• Absolute Textures and Backgrounds - great site for backgrounds - has everything imaginable
• Enchanted Backgrounds A site worth a look for the quality of the design.
