“Back to Normal” with Eric Rohmann
Friday evening, June 13

Milner Library on the Illinois State University campus invites all conference participants to honor the many ISU alumni in the Children’s Literature Association at a reception in the library called “Back to Normal.” ISU alumnus and Caldecott medallist Eric Rohmann will speak, and library tours will be available.  

International Collection of Child Art Exhibit
Wednesday, June 11 – Sunday, June 15

The International Collection of Child Art is a unique resource housed in the Milner Library, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois. The collection was initiated in 1969 and now contains over 8,500 pieces of child art from over fifty countries and cultures. It is used by scholars from numerous disciplines to study various aspects of artwork by children and adolescents. Several exhibits of original artwork from the collection will be on display throughout the Children’s Literature Association conference.

New Members Reception
Thursday evening, June 12

New members of the Children’s Literature Association will be welcomed and provided with information about ChLA.  Regional story-tellers will perform.
