Minor in English
The Minor in English requires 18 hours of English courses, exclusive of English 101 and courses in the teaching of English (291, 295, 296, 297, 395).
Course Requirements:
- ENG 100 Introduction to English Studies, with a C or better;
- 3 hours selected from ENG 283 Rhetorical Theory and Applications, ENG 284 Poetry, ENG 285 Drama, and ENG 286 Prose;
- At least 9 hours of the remaining 12 hours must be completed at the 200- through 300-level courses.
Please note that these requirements are for the 2003-2004 catalog. Students under catalogs prior to 1996-1997 should check with the Department for those requirements.
