Writing Letters to Address Audience:

It is 10:00 Friday night. Your friend from SIU has a sibling (Chris) who is interested in attending ISU and convinces you to host him/her. You decide to go to a party and obviously take Chris with you. At the party, you don't drink but Chris is on his/her third beer when you find him/her half an hour later. Shortly after that, the police raid the party. You attempt to take Chris and make a getaway, but are stopped by a very annoyed police officer. You are issued tickets for underage drinking and resisting arrest.

Date: Friday, February 15th
Time of the event: approximately 10:45
Location: 615 Abnormal Drive

You must write letters to the following people explaining the incident:

1) Your fairly strict parents who have always felt that you would do better at a school closer to home where you would be less likely to get into trouble.

2) Your friend at SIU

3) The officer who issued you the tickets, asking him to rescind the tickets.

You cannot lie, but you may use your judgment when relating the story to each audience.
