To be a Writer---What Does it Mean?

Overview:

In this exercise you will interview three people about what it means to be a writer, and from those interviews you will compose a brief essay
(200-300 words) related to the notion of what it means to be a writer.

Key Activities:

1. Interview three people about what it means to be a writer.
2. Draft a brief (200-300 words) essay

Major Deliverables:

A brief essay (one double-spaced page) about what it means to be a writer. This essay must show evidence of you having performed at least two
interviews.
