Why 101 is Required for All Freshmen

Reading and writing are skills that are crucial to nearly everything students will do in college and in the rest of their professional lives. This course provides students with methods and skills that will lead to successful writing in English 101 and other classes at ISU. As all writing classes are taught in networked computer classrooms; students will learn how to use the latest technology and be able to use computer technology effectively in other classes.
